Kongeørn is situated within five acres of private croftland, dedicated to the conservation of the natural environment. The land is managed to encourage a wide variety of wildlife, including red deer, red squirrels, badgers, foxes, buzzards, golden eagles and a wide variety of birds.
The land is also home to a number of types of wild trees and plants commonly found in this part of the world.
Sheep farming is a traditional way of life in the Highlands and we are fortunate to have a small flock of sheep grazing the land.
